Gasproducing drycell

Small size gas plant

How it works
The cell is activated through an electric short-cut of the two external poles, thus starting the gas production. The gas volume in relation to time is defined through an external resistor (Ra). The higher the resistor setting is, the slower is the gas production, which is in direct relation to the electric power flowing through the cell. If the circuit is interrupted, the gas production stops instantly.

Moving power and capacities
The gasproducing dry cell is currently available in 4 different sizes. Special versions for larger volumes are available on request. The total gas volume available per hour can be increased by switching any number of standard cells in series.

Diameter Height Capacity
25.0 mm 7.8 mm 950 ml
11.6 mm 5.4 mm 160 ml
7.8 mm 5.4 mm 50 ml
7.8 mm 3.5 mm 25 ml

Gasproducing dry cells have a shelf-life in excess of three years, without any noticeable energy loss. They are protected by a thin plastic foil covering the gas exit holes, thus preventing the drying out of the cell. This foil does not need to be removed, it lifts itself off, as soon as the gasproduction begins. The cells can be disposed through regular battery recycling, they do not contain any hazardous materials.
